Using multiple titles and descriptions

As you may know anchor text in incoming links is a key SEO factor, definitely this is something you should not forget when planning to submit your website to directories.

A good anchor text would be a short phrase containing some of your target keywords, but don’t forget that search engines don’t like all your incoming links to have the same text: if every page linking to yours were to use the same anchor text, it would be seen by search engines as an unnatural pattern.
As directories linking to you will be using as anchor text the title you provide to them at the time of submitting, what you should do is use a set of different titles for your submissions.

You can do this quite easily with Website Directory Submit as it allows you to use an unlimited set of profiles for each of your websites.

When adding new profiles into the software you will notice there’s a field called profile weight, the higher the weight of a profile the higher the chances of it being used to auto fill a form, example: if a given profile has a weight of 30%, it will be used in 30% of your submissions.

That’s how you can automate the distribution of anchor text used by directories to link to your site.
